Welcome to Fox Class! We have nine children aged P2 - P4. 

Our first theme of the year was 'Hey, Hey Look at Me!'.  We learnt about our bodies, bones, the five senses and how to look after ourselves. We also talked about our feelings and emotions. Our new theme is 'Once Upon a Time'. We are so excited to learn about different fairytales and learn how to write stories of our own!

In Numeracy, we use Mathseeds to help us learn and gain confidence in using mathematical concepts. We really enjoy using practical resources to help us learn, such as Numicon, 3D shapes, compare bears, clocks and lots more!

In Literacy, we use Jolly Phonics to help us learn how to read and write. We love practical, multisensory activities such as making letters out of playdough, writing in sand and shaving foam, using whisper phones and lots more. We are gaining so much confidence and are making great progress with our Bug Club reading.

We love learning outside, and we really enjoy Forest School lessons in our school's new Forest School area as well as in Kilcooley Woods nearby.  We love the playground and playing with lots of different resources, but our personal favourite is the bikes and trikes.  We are so lucky to have such amazing spaces to explore and run outside.

We enjoy a range of movement breaks and sensory breaks including music and movement, yoga, exploring the lights in our Sensory Room, relaxing in the calm corner, sensory circuits in P.E., Bucket Time, and LEGO Therapy.
