We are the Elder Tree Class!

We are a class of eight children, which gives us the unique opportunity to provide the very best for each pupil through meaningful, individual attention. Our approach places strong emphasis on understanding every child’s individual strength, interests, and learning styles, allowing them to truly be themselves within a caring, happy, and inclusive learning community. We strive to ensure that every child feels valued, supported, and placed at the heart of everything we do.

We have had a wonderful Term One, filled with exciting new learning. As part of our thematic unit The Blue Planet, pupils explored life beneath the sea, culminating in a visit to the aquarium where they were able to observe a wide range of marine animals first-hand. Our curriculum is carefully tailored to ensure every child feels engaged and confident in their learning. Through hands-on experiences, targeted support, and regular feedback, we aim to nurture an environment where pupils can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Primary 6 is a key stage in preparing pupils for transition, encouraging independence in everyday routines and responsibilities. As their class teacher, I am truly relishing watching each child grow and develop into the best version of themselves.
