A warm welcome to LSC2!
We are the Key Stage Two class in the Learning Support Unit at Kilcooley Primary School. Our class is made up of 13 pupils, aged P5 - P7.
We have been very busy with our learning this year and have covered lots already! From nouns and adjectives to place value and addition, we focus on our literacy and numeracy skills each day. After break, we have been reading ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and love hearing about the adventures of Hiccup and Toothless!
Having just completed our first topic, The Vikings, we took a trip to the North Down Museum to learn about Vikings in Bangor! Topic work is so enjoyable as we are a very artistic bunch! We made our own shields, designed dragon eyes and wrote our names in runes.
Over the next year we have lots of exciting topics to look forward to, including:

• Natural Disasters
• Flight
• Eco Warriors
There are lots of exciting things to look forward to and we are so proud of everyone in our class!
