Hello everyone and welcome to SLD Nursery,
Our nurturing and compassionate environment is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each child, fostering their growth and development in a supportive and inclusive manner. Our staff are dedicated and experienced in working with children with a range of needs, ensuring that they receive the individualised care and attention they deserve. We believe in celebrating the abilities of each child, fostering, and promoting their independence, whilst also encouraging social interaction and friendship amongst the children. In our class every child is embraced, empowered, and given the opportunity to thrive! We have massive focus on communication throughout our classroom, we use Makaton and PECS daily to ensure our children's needs are being met. We have covered many topics so far including Colours, Feelings, Autum, Self-help/care skills and Space. We have been making some brilliant progress from the start of the term and cannot wait to continue!
