SCC 2
SCC2 is a fabulous class of ten P6 and P7 pupils. We have just finished a brilliant topic on The Vikings, finishing with a trip to the Ards and North Down Museum. We spend every day learning together – we are reading The London Eye Mystery and enjoying trying to work out what has happened, focusing on sentence level skills as well as small chunks of writing. In Maths, we have covered Place Value, Addition and Subtraction as well as 2D shape and problem solving. We get to choose every day whether we want to challenge ourselves or if we want to stay in our comfort zone.
We are extremely proud of the art work we produce as well as the music we play and the songs we sing. Talking about emotions and feelings are an important part of the work we do in SCC2. SCC2 is lead by a strong team of 4 adults, supporting the children in all their learning endeavours.
