Ancient Egypt
In this topic we will learn about Ancient Egyptian Civilization. We will study mummies, pyramids, pharaohs, the River Nile, food, farming and homes. Each year the highlight of this topic is our fun, interactive Egyptian Day!
Words and Actions
In Geography we will be using atlases to locate a given country around the world. We will be identifying sound in our local environment and learning about the different forms of communication around the world.
In history we will be identifying changes in communication over time and we will be learning Morse Code, Makaton and British Sign Language.
In Science we will look at forces such as friction and push and pull. We will learn about how different sounds evoke emotions and will learn how sounds are made.
