SLD Nursery

Welcome to SLD Nursery!

We have had an amazing first term so far! Our pupils have settled into our daily routines so well and are becoming more independent every day. We are working hard on self-help skills and exploring various forms of communication such as Makaton and PECS. We thrive on having a communication friendly environment for our pupils where their needs can be expressed and met. Our pupils receive OT and SLT support and participate in Cookery, Attention Autism, TACPAC, Literacy and Numeracy weekly. Our pupils love indoor and outdoor play daily which ranges from Intensive Interaction to Play Based Learning. They particularly love their daily sensory trays – the messier the better!
